We have finally wrapped up another very successful and fun season at the 7D! Andrea, Meade, and I are starting to exhale, relax, and look back on the summer. One thing we have not done in a while is add to the blog on our website. We do not have any major projects lined up for the winter, which means we have some time to focus on other aspects of the ranch, as well as taking some more time for ourselves after the busy season.
As many of you can guess, we had an amazing season: full weeks, good weather, great people, and best of all, amazing food. Each year the ranch is inching closer to one hundred percent occupancy, this year our June weeks filled out from an average twenty guests to nearly twenty-five. I suppose we had mostly good weather, but some of you will remember some particularly rainy all day rides early on in the season. Over half of our guests were returning from years past, which are becoming a standard for the 7D. Our head cook, Jeff, was praised all season long by the guests. We were grateful to have had him this season.
We had over thirty different people working for the ranch, throughout the season. This definitely illustrates the ranch’s success over the past few years; our staff has grown to help accommodate consistently full weeks. As we tell everyone on Saturday evenings, the 7D would not be part of the Dominick family without you, the guests. Each week we genuinely mean this, and we hope it shows! So, expect to continue hearing from the ranch every month. Look for our Christmas card at the end of the year and get excited for the 2016 season!
