The Ranch has transformed since we saw you last! The guest cabins are shut down; water and power have been shut off, pictures and paintings taken off the walls and plastic covering the furniture.
The horses were hauled into town to enjoy their off season grazing in spacious pastures with views of the snow-capped mountains in Sunlight not far in the distance.
The chickens are back in town still living their best lives roaming around on warm days and cuddling in the coop by the heat lamp on the bitterly cold days.
The animals and critters have started to move back in since things have quieted down; A cow moose and her calf roam around grazing, a red fox hanging out right outside my door and a herd of big horned sheep and elk basking in the sun on top of Memorial just to name a few!
Winter at the 7D is such a special time and unique experience. As much as I am loving and appreciating every second of it, I am also looking forward to having you all back and watching the ranch come alive again in spring!
