Hello friends!
Well this week love is certainly in the air and we thought that it would be a great time to reconnect with you all and share the love from Sunlight Basin!
From the office–we are happy to report that we are booked for the 2019 season but of course we are always accepting reservations for the waitlist. And we are taking reservations for 2020! Before we know it, June will be here and the season will be well underway!
Nothing new to report in terms of ranch construction, however for those of you that were not able to see it, the hay barn got a makeover that was completed this fall. Here is a look at it now that it has been updated!
We check on our animals daily and this time of year with such extreme temps we are breaking ice so that the horses can get to their water source. Meanwhile, the chickens and roosters appreciate the cozy coop!
While the rest of the country was experiencing a polar vortex, we were experiencing temperatures in the high 40s. However, that didn’t last too long and by the next week we were having to embrace temperatures with a high of -1 and a low of -20 with windchill. BRRR! Despite the chilly weather, we find ourselves filled with warmth and love as we look around us at the beauty of Sunlight Basin in wintertime.
