It is hard to believe that in less than 3 weeks, we will be living up at the ranch and our 2017 staff will be just starting to arrive! We are so excited.
Crazy enough, we are getting SEVERAL reservations for NEXT summer (2018) each week and filling up quickly – so if you’re planning to come see us, make sure you give us a call!
We are certainly are getting quite the taste of wildlife up at the ranch as the weather warms up and the snow melts. On Tuesday evening – there were 4 moose at the end of the driveway hanging out and then another HUGE moose right in front of Racquet Club. I stood there and watched it wander over to right behind the laundry room and poke its nose around there. Pretty spectacular!
While I would love to say that spring has “stuck”, it’s not quite true….we’ve been getting quite a bit of snow up at the ranch which, thankfully, hasn’t been sticking – but it’s still pretty chilly! Here’s a photo of what we woke up to up there on Wednesday:
Finally, the elk on Sunlight Road have been absolutely magnificent. There were several hundred up on either side of the road Tuesday evening – and even crossing the road! Thankfully, they don’t seem to be too fond of cars passing by, so there were no run ins! But one of the most beautiful sites I have seen up there.
We’re staying busy with all of the summer preparations — we’re lining up all of our summer entertainment, ordering new cool 7D clothing, starting to clean out the office to move things up there in just a couple short weeks. We’ll keep you all posted on things!
